BADRU Muwanga

Mr. Badru Muwanga is the Founder and the Chairman Board of Directors of Luuka Plastics Ltd. He is an astute business man with a passion for the manufacturing and packaging sector with over 45 years of experience. Through his Chairmanship, the company has established itself as the leading manufacturer of flexible packaging materials and products in Uganda and East Africa with success in growth and development.

Through his mentorship, he has contributed to the structural development of the Company, in particular internal structures aimed at delivering the core strategic goals and objectives of the Company. He prides himself not only as the founder of the Company but a hands-on leader who has been involved in all operations of the Company since its inception.

Executive Director

MUSA Mugeere

As Executive Director Luuka Plastics Ltd, Mr. Mugeere holds a BA in Information Technology from Kyambogo University Kampala and an ACCA affiliate with MAT-ABACUS Business School. He holds over 15 years of experience in operations and production in the manufacturing/packaging sector. As a dedicated leader, he has risen through the ranks from production trainee to Executive Director and has overseen the growth and expansion of the company into a national & regional brand.

MOSES Ssesanga

Mr. Moses Ssesanga is a Human Resource Management professional with over 20 years’ experience and holds a BA in Social Work and Social Administration and Master’s in Public Administration & Management from Makerere University Kampala. He is also a certified Thomas International HR Systems Trainer/Practitioner and a Certified Trainer for The Ken Blanchard ‘Situational Leadership Model II’.

Moses brings on Board a wealth of experience and competency in managing performance, cultural change and organisation restructuring (including retrenchment) garnered from successful executions in various private and government entities, spanning over middle management to executive/head of function level, both in government parastatals & private enterprises.

MOSES Kibumba

Mr. Moses Kibumba is a tax Consultant with over 25years of experience and holds a BA Education from Makerere University Kampala and Dip in Tax Administration from Uganda Management Institute. He is recognised for tax audit management and has specialized in economic sectors like, Telecommunications, Petroleum, Financial Institutions, etc.

Mr. Kibumba has also organized and conducted various Continuous Professional Development (CPDs) programs in different areas of tax administration in Rwanda and Burundi. He comes on board with vast experience and expertise in various fields in tax management.

YASIN Ismail Ramadhan

Mr. Ismail Ramadhan is an Engineer and Consultant with over 13 consecutive years in the Telecommunication industry environment. He holds a B.SC Engineering from Makerere University Kampala and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School.

Yasin has effectively managed internal organisational stakeholders (Network, Legal, Procurement and Logistics, Finance, Capital Projects, Business Risk Management) and external stakeholders (International Equipment vendors, Service Providers, Regulator) to ensure business requirements are met within required timelines, budget constraints and quality standards. He comes on Board with a wealth of experience in different telecommunication technologies, telecommunication planning tools, international vendor equipment and management systems.

EMILY Gakiza

Ms Emily Gakiza is a legal practitioner as well as a Risk and Governance professional with over 24 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from The University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; a Post Graduate Diploma from the Law Development Centre, Kampala and an MBA from The University of Leicester. She is an accredited IFC/ICSA Governance trainer and facilitates training with the ICSA Uganda Chapter.

Ms. Gakiza comes on board with wide-ranging experience in the financial services sector and has advised on various matters from financing, conveyancing, outsourcing, corporate real estate, and employment. She has also been at the forefront of the implementation of regulatory compliance related to the financial services and mobile money sector, anti-money laundering and sanctions advisory.
